Grand Central's Bread Pudding Muffins

A long time ago, I was an itinerant wanderer who wandered to Portland, Oregon.  I also somehow managed to wander into the Grand Central Bakery, and tried a bread pudding muffin.  MIND BLOWN.  Now, every time I visit Portland, I wander my little butt back in there, because a life without bread pudding muffins is a sad life indeed...

Recently, I had half a loaf of slightly stale homemade bread, and was looking for something magical to do with it.  First, I happily discovered that Grand Central has a blog post on "dead bread" like mine--and even more happily, that they put the ENTIRE RECIPE for the bread pudding muffins online!  OMG.  I've linked to their recipe online below, and also uploaded a pdf.  (This recipe is too precious to risk on the vagaries of some web designer--so yaaaaaaay pdfs!)

Pro-tip:  when you make these, use paper liners in your muffin tin.  If you've got a great muffin tin and sticking isn't an issue, nice tall paper liners will help keep the pudding from spilling from the tin before you've baked it--and, frankly, the sides of these muffins aren't particularly aesthetic (unless you live in an alternative universe where "aesthetic" means "sticky").
